BEZZERA GALATEA DOMUS
Bezzera Galatea Domus adopts the conventional E61 grouphead, which is always revered as the benchmark for commercial quality.

The E61 groupheads had been used for decades for commercial usage.
Users can do preinfusion techniques if they find necessary.
The thermosyphon system will cycle hot water to the grouphead just like any E61 system.
Double Pressure Gauge
Features an important brew gauge and a steam boiler gauge, useful for identifying any anomalies during brewing and readiness of the machine.
2 Litres Boiler
A full 2 litres size, to ensure better back to back thermal stability. This is particularly important to a heat exchanger or single boiler.
For the E61 grouphead, if the boiler is lower than 2 litres. It’s found to be considerably unstable in the temperature during extraction. As there’s too much hot water out with fresh cold water pumped in, it will create a drastic drop in temperature in the boiler. Which can also lead to a sharp decline in the grouphead’s temperature from the themosyphon system.
If it’s higher than 2 litres, the start up time will be lengthened, and power consumption will be larger. Thus 2 litres was found by Bezzera to compromise the best at both ends.
The E61 uses a thermosyphon system to stabilise the temperature the grouphead.
A safe material with natural anti-microbial properties to continuously kill greater than 99.9% of bacteria that cause hospital-acquired infections, keeping water in the boiler always potable. One of the most conductive metal on earth, making the machine very efficient in starting up and recovering from lost heat. Will never rust like Stainless Steel, or release lead from Brass, will only oxidise and increase its antimicrobial properties as its age.
It is very easy for anyone to use the E61 system.
Since it is running on a heat exchanger system, users can froth milk and brew coffee at the same time.
The double hole steam wand tip allows the user to froth very quickly.
Being a heat exchanger means that the turnover of water usage is faster, meaning only fresh water will be used for for brewing.
Due to the design of the heat exchanger, minimal cool flushing is required.
The design does not hinder the steam power.
The main difference between a Bezzera Magica and the Bezzera Galatea Domus is how they access the water tank.
The Bezzera Magica’s Galatea Domusentire top tray is removable. While the Galatea Domus has a flap for easier access.
The rest are mainly aesthetic difference.
The Bezzera Magica is slightly smaller, while the Galatea Domus has a generous amount of space for cups and drips.
Warning: Be careful of hot surfaces, water and steam at all time.
Do not allow vibration pumps to activate for more than 2 minutes, allow half amount of rest time for any long duration of activation.
