Bezzera Aria TOP PID

$2899

Bezzera Aria Aria TOP results from Bezzera’s R&D team improving the classic E61 Espresso machine. Made for unparalleled espressos. The first model sold in Singapore designed for home baristas. Having a smaller footprint and a more serviceable design for long-term reliability. In this version, the machine is enhanced with full features, having a flow control system, a PID temperature controller with shot timer and a rotary pump.

Do note that the flow control may require regular servicing to keep the needle valve clean from blockage.

The flow control should never be fully closed to allow water to pass, and extraction should not take excessively long, else it could cause overheating or excessive wear to the pump.

Bezzera Aria TOP PID Anatomy

Main Features

Flow Control

A premium feature enabling users to adjust the extraction pressure in real-time seamlessly.

PID Temp controller with shot timer + Dual Gauge

The PID provides users the capability to fine-tune the boiler’s temperature, enhancing coffee flavor and ensuring temperature consistency. The timer initiates with pump activation.

The machine is equipped with two vital pressure gauges, enabling real-time monitoring of extraction and boiler conditions.

Rotary pump

The machine employs a robust compact rotary pump, designed to handle high-traffic demands efficiently.

Commercial grade components

Made with the same Italian brands or parts used in the commercial machine line. Food grade. Every machine has been tested and certified to pass European commercial standards.

Water tank or plumb in

The Aria TOP PID can use the internal 3 litres water tank or connect to a water network for continuous water supply

Extra safety Components

Full suite of safeties used in the Professional line used in Bezzera’s commercial machines. Including pressure sensors, water probes, vacuum relief valves, overheat cut-off switches and emergency safety valves with auto boiler refill.

1.5L Handmade COPPER boiler

E61 requires large boiler for stability. Bezzera’s latest research has invented a smaller boiler that retains the same performance. Huge amount of available steam for frothing milk. Non-toxic with anti-microbial properties.

Heat Exchange Boiler

Produces espresso with better clarity, using only fresh water. Able to froth milk and extract espresso simultaneously without requiring a mode change for each task. Higher durability and serviceability

Simplified Engineering design

In this version, the machine is designed to have more mechanical parts than electronic components. Giving it higher resistance against electrical damage and less vulnerable points of failure.

Designed for perfection

Bezzera’s engineering

Piantagioni0303

Designed based on the science of coffee

All machines are designed to be homogenized with the Science of Coffee that Italy coffee institutes have heavily studied. The hydrodynamics are designed to achieve the target of achieving well-made espressos with the right parameters using the user’s least effort.

BZ Crema Extraction 1

Built like Rolls Royce, Serviceable like Japanese Automobiles.

Bezzera’s designs its systems to achieve the correct thermal and pressure equilibrium by hydraulic designs instead of adding too many unnecessary electronic components, each with a finite lifespan. The more features, the more points of failures.

New features are stress tested and heavily studied to determine if they provide significant real-life benefits or could cause detrimental effects on the machine’s longevity before adding.

Introduction to flow control.

This feature gives the user dynamic control over the brewing extraction process, leading to an endlessly diverse range of coffee flavours from the same bean. Also, the user has the ability to perform adjustments to either decrease or amplify bitterness and acidity levels.

Warnings and points to note.

Be careful of hot surfaces, water and steam at all times.

Cleaning and usage guide can be found from: New starter’s guide

Always use water softeners to reduce limescale formation.

Avoid using any power adaptors or extensions to avoid an unstable power supply or overloading.

Do not leave the machine idling unnecessarily, especially for models without PID. Copper boilers reheat quickly, there’s no need to leave the machine always on.

Do not allow vibration pumps to activate for more than 2 minutes.

It comes with a free tamper

The Bezzera Aria is the only model that comes with a free Tamper.
